Help Us Rebuild Evolution Dance Center

I'm reaching out to our incredible dance family with a heavy heart and a humble request for your support.

Just days after celebrating Evolution Dance Center's 10-year anniversary and returning home from an incredibly successful National Competition, we walked into the studio Monday morning expecting to begin another exciting season. Instead, we were met with devastation.

Opening the doors to see our studio destroyed was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. Watching the place I've poured my heart, soul, countless hours, and years of hard work into sitting in ruins brought me to my knees. After years of minor leaks, the relentless storms and heavy rain over the past two weeks finally took their toll.

While the damage is overwhelming, I continue to count my blessings. This happened while we were away, the studio was empty, and no one was hurt. For that, I am incredibly grateful. I'm also thankful that our landlords are working with us to ensure the building is repaired properly.

For more than 10 years, Evolution Dance Center has been so much more than a dance studio. We have proudly served the Piscataway community, supported local schools and community events, celebrated countless achievements, and provided a safe, loving second home for hundreds of dancers and their families. EDC has helped children grow not only as dancers, but as confident, compassionate, and resilient young people.

Now, we need our community more than ever.

As we begin the difficult journey of rebuilding, we are asking for your prayers, your encouragement, and, if you are able, your financial support. Donations will help us replace damaged flooring, equipment, supplies, and everything needed to restore the space our dancers call home. No donation is too small—every dollar brings us one step closer to reopening our doors and continuing the mission we've dedicated the last decade to.
